Some Reasons I won't Vote for Obama...

Much has been said about Barack Hussein's Obama's lack of experience. Regardless of how he spins it, he really IS more lacking in experience than any of the POTUS and/or VP candidates in the running. As a matter of fact, the one person who gets all of the bad press about having a supposed lack of experience (Palin) is the ONLY one of the four who actually has executive experience. That's largely as the Governor of Alaska which is a large and important state in regards to our energy independence and national security. (SHE has a higher National Security Clearance than any of the other three politicians campaigning.)

What else is just as important as experience (if not more so)? I'd say: character (& the ability to make good/sound judgments). A person can be short on political experience but, when combined with their other experience and GOOD Character & Judgment, ...they may easily be the absolute best person for the job. It's when a candidate for office has shown a continual lack in judgment that their lack of political experience becomes a problem.
How I Define 'Character' :
Character is that group of qualities in a person that make them who they are...it's shown by actions (not just publicly as in their reputation...but it's what that person does when nobody seems to be looking). It has a lot to do with whether a person consistently walks what they talk - or not. Constantly saying that you believe one thing and then doing and/or voting another way shows a person lacking in good character. Choosing to be involved in something unethical or immoral when you think that either nobody will know or that you can get away with it shows a lack of character and wise judgment. When you've made a mistake, not doing your best to rectify it and then either going on the attack when questioned or trying to deny it to the bitter end when it catches up to you (read BHO campaign strategy) shows a lack of character.

I've been asked "What has Obama ever done that would make you say he's lacking in character?"

Here are a few points to illustrate my reasons for holding this opinion of him:
(These aren't listed in any particular order & I'm trying to keep this as short as possible ..so I'll TRY to not write long paragraphs detailing everything that supports my stance on each point. Perhaps I can devote an individual blog to each of these as time permits.)

He's made several statements about his family & early life that have been proven to be false. (This behavior shows an attempt to cover up, or bury info about him that most people wouldn't like...or why else misrepresent so much about himself? )

There are legitimate questions about character raised by several reports that he has NOT been able to produce a legitimate birth certificate that would prove his eligibility to run for our highest office...instead he's responsible for having a doctored, fake birth certificate posted online. (I am a natural born citizen and if I were running for office and this question was raised, I would IMMEDIATELY silence it by providing the PROOF that I was legally eligible to be in that office...ending all questions. Wouldn't you? BHO refuses to do so.)

Questionable associations and even more questionable deals with the likes of Tony Rezko, an indicted political fundraiser who's also a Chicago slumlord involved in at least one questionable real estate deal (it was with BHO). There are A LOT of questionable associations. Radicals. He can be buddies with anyone he chooses...BUT as a candidate for President of the United States, Americans Have the Right to know about those associations because it shows what he's really like, what he really believes, his True world view, politics, etc.... People do not have Long Associations with other people whose morals, character and actions don't jive with their own. It's one thing for a public figure to have a fleeting acquaintance with a person they couldn't really have much respect for, but then, if that's the case, they don't develop a long personal relationships with them. Bill Ayers, Rev. Wright, ACORN, ties to Farrakhan & Chavez. . . . .

BHO's Chicago-style 'politics as usual', which leads me to...
The report that he's received $24,000 in illegal campaign funds from Rafah, Gaza and attempted to hide it from the FEC by making it appear that these 2 or 3 men were from the state of Georgia, also entering the 3 digit area code for Gaza into their finance records. as if it were the 5 digit zip code. (And, isn't the personal limit more like 2,300...and that's OK ONLY IF you're an American citizen. Again, if he's innocent of accepting this money and these reports are false, why not immediately prove that to the FEC? ...Wouldn't you?)
There are other reports of illegal contributions as well. A couple of old college buddies from Pakistan who illegally contributed big bucks in small amounts in an attempt to 'fly under the radar'. A 26 year old woman recently did an experiment to see how easy Obama's campaign made it for ANYONE to donate. She entered a fake name & address, entered her employer as "Americans Against Obama" and her position as "Founder"...her $15 donation went through in les than 3 seconds. In another situation, a reader used the same credit card information with three different names (Usama Bin Laden, Saddam Hussein, and Bill Ayers) ..ALL were accepted. This is evidence that Obama wants to make it very easy for incorrect (read ILLEGAL) donations to get through. It wouldn't be hard for them to prevent this type of thing...it's done all the time by those doing business online who DON'T want wrong things entered.
[The dollar amount of Questionable donations has greatly increased since I first wrote this]

Although, during his campaign, he's attempted to appear a moderate, in fact his record shows that he is the most liberal senator and was extremely liberal in his votes in the state legislature also. I believe that it shows a lack of character to try and present yourself as being one way, when in fact, you're the opposite. What are some of his votes which I believe go against a Judeo-Christian system of ethics?
  • He's voted against prohibiting partial-birth abortion(it included the noted exception of saving the mother's life...which is a moot point anyway & completely unrealistic);
  • voted against prohibiting state funding for abortion (same exception , plus cases of rape/incest);
  • voted against the Born Alive Infant Protection Act (on more than one occasion & has since lied [there's proof] about why) ...when even the ultra liberal NARAL Pro-Choice America wasn't even against this one;
  • voted against making prisoners pay court costs for FRIVOLOUS law suits against the state;
  • voted against imposing penalties for criminal gang activity;
  • the only one to vote against a bill that would deny 'good time' early release to sex offenders;
  • voted 'present' on a bill that would restrict the location of 'adult' use buildings, preventing them from locating too near nursery & pre-schools, churches, etc....;
  • voted against having schools install filter software to block sexually explicit sites on computers used by the children as young as in kindergarten;
  • voted 'yes' to allow purchase of 10 needles from a pharmacy without a prescription; (WHAT?)
  • voted 'present' on establishing a zero-tolerance drug policy for Dept of Corrections officers;
  • general: numerous votes in support of the homosexual agenda, against heterosexuals in similar legislation;
  • general: voted 'present' 130 times while a state senator (ducking certain controversial issues for political expediency).

I'm not trying to infer that anyone who disagrees with me on issues has no character or judgment...what I am saying is that for someone who truly has become a Christian to consistently vote against Judeo-Christian beliefs...makes no sense. If you believe the teachings of the Bible (of Jesus) how could you use the power entrusted into your hands to legislate Against those very ideals? So, to me, there's either a lack of character shown by voting against the ideals you hold dear...OR...he really Doesn't hold to the ideals he claims to have --and that amount of deception shows a lack of character as well.

The excuse of saying "I'm personally against 'XXX', but I would never vote to stop anyone else from 'XXX'." 'sounds' great in this society, but it doesn't hold water when the 'XXX' that you're discussing includes any action that attacks or takes away the God given & Constitutional rights of another human being...things like giving a false testimony in court to frame an innocent person, slavery, killing babies, etc....

Heard of an incident called Naftagate? Apparently, Obama attacked Clinton's support of NAFTA (in a state where NAFTA is not liked) promising to junk the treaty until it's renegotiated. At the same time a top official of his campaign was telling the Canadians that he didn't really mean it — that it was just campaign rhetoric. (Sounds deceitful to me...telling everyone anything they want to hear regardless of your TRUE opinion)

In 2006, Barack Obama requested an earmark of $1 million for the University of Chicago Hospital...the same hospital where Michelle Obama is the Vice President for Community Affairs. She made $121,910.00 in 2004 (before her husband was elected to the United States Senate). In 2005, (after Obama won his election) she made $316,962.00. (Pretty good raise- huh? It all sounds crooked to me) Also interesting... her non-profit? hospital has been busted! They've been shown to charge un-insured people 3.5 times the rate they charge the insured for the same things. It's been reported that this was the Obama inspired method used to try and cater to a specific clientele.

His membership in a church which has been described as more of an extremely liberal social activism club and his long association/friendship with a pastor of that church who spews forth hate and anti-American tirades, etc... (Black Liberation Theology is NOT Christianity) This shows a lack of judgment - in what it says about the ideologies he supports...in staying there if he didn't support it...then in trying to 'spin' it by pretending he didn't know anything about it when it all went public. Choosing to raise & teach your children in that atmosphere of hate shows a huge lack of judgment to any Christian-style morality...but apparently not to someone who was taught in a Wahabi school himself.

This fact DOES bring up another legitimate question...Is there any truth to the concern that he's actually practicing the Muslim art of 'taqqiyah' (lying to infidels)? It's been reported that the Muslims have said they plan on destroying the US from the inside out. What better way to do that than through our own government? It's also a fact that radical Muslim groups DO exist who've trained young Muslim men to act like Christian converts, even sending them to Christian universities, to aid their ability to infiltrate American society. So a Muslim claiming to be a Christian is not an unheard of impossibility. The point has been made that {to the Muslim way of thinking} if your father was Muslim, so are you & 'once a Muslim - always a Muslim'. If one should happen to openly renounce that religion they're to be killed. Nobody in the Muslim world is trying to kill him, IN FACT many reports state that they say they're thrilled with the possibility that he may win this election. This implies that (at least) to the Muslim mind, he is still one of them.

Like it or not, we've had a war against terrorism thrust on us by 9/11 and to then turn around and elect a person who'd be the favorite 'pick of our enemies' would be foolhardy & would also belittle the American lives that have been lost.

NOTE: I am not saying that it's been proven that he IS consciously doing this...only that, looking at it all together, there IS a Very Legitimate reason for us to be asking these questions.

As for his tendency to try and label anything & everyone as racist ~and~ all politically inconvenient statements are portrayed as coming from people who are inferred to be 'less than he'... His tactic of going in for the kill like that whenever anyone says anything that might cause people to see something deeper into who he really is shows a lack in both character and judgment ...from my perspective. One of the latest cases in point....Joe, the Plumber! No need to elaborate here as much as the attacks on him have been in the news, by the news and for the news! (mainstream media's news, read 'ObamaTimes')

Continual flip-flopping on SO MANY issues such as he has with the war in Iraq. Now, I know there are times when someone thinks one way about an issue and then later changes their mind. I don't have a problem with that and don't even consider it qualifies as 'flip-flopping'. The problem appears when the person goes back & forth & back & forth like a ping-pong ball. Basically this is just a person who's wanting to always appear to be & have been on whichever side ends up on the top of a disagreement. This person wants to avoid the responsibility of ever having to give an answer for his/her position... they can always pull some statement, etc... out of their hat and try to appear as if they've always supported the side of the issue that's currently in favor. What that says to me about a person's character is that he/she does not have the strength to stand their ground when in a situation and times get tough. ...And, when is it NOT going to be a tough time for whoever is in the White House?

I've seen the earlier video of Obama saying that he was NOT going to run for higher office before he'd had time to gain experience from serving in the US Senate...yet, he's been doing just that for most of the short time since he went to Washington. (145 working days in the senate before starting his campaign) He's carefully crafted this reassuring image of a great unifier...an agent of change...as well as a moderate. His record does not match his persona. Then there's his ability to duck the tough issues...anything that might be 'inconvenient' later. OK, it's completely his choice whether he wants to do these things or not...but to me, this pictures someone who says things (that's if you can get an actual clear statement out of him) and then people still can't trust it because of how often that person actually does (or, is) something else. (Biden's done a 180 on many things he'd said since he was asked to run for VP as well)

The recent Financial Crisis: This crisis did not stem from President Bush. The argument can be made that he didn't do enough about what was going on, but he certainly didn't cause it either. This has been building for a long time now and there's a lot of proof that the democratic party is at the top of the list of who to blame. Of course there was more than one thing that caused this crisis (there will be more on this in another Blog). Many leading economists have come out stating that HBO's financial plan will be a disaster for America...especially in this crisis. (What else can you expect from someone closely tied to those who caused it in the first place?) McCain suspended campaigning to try and work out a plan after all, he had brought this issue to the Senate's attention years ago trying to prevent what just happened and they shot him down. BHO didn't do anything (his campaign version of voting 'present') so that he could spin his reaction based on how things looked down the road. He's been spinning ever since.

Time spent campaigning (while a US Senator) for his Kenyan cousin, Raila Odinga, who was running for President. When he lost, he claimed the election was rigged and his followers went on murderous rampages, killing many (mostly Christians were targeted). Islam had picked him to win. He'd signed an agreement with Sheikh Abdullah Abdi in which, in return for Islamic support, he'd agreed to turn Kenya into a Muslim nation - outlawing Christianity. I can't prove whether BHO's involvement is Kenyan politics is due to his religious or his tribal connections to it, but it is troubling...especially if it's really both of the reasons listed.

Speaking of rigged elections...what about the one we're heading into right now? There's a (BHO tied) ACORN scandal regarding voter registration fraud. Do you remember their response? ..."Voter registration fraud is not voter fraud." OK, BUT one thing leads to the other! Now college students who are reporters for Palestra.net have uncovered Actual Obama Voter FRAUD. This has resulted in 18 illegal votes [the number is growing] for BHO by his campaign workers being withdrawn once they were caught. There are 700 BHO campaign workers currently in OH...How many illegal votes have not been ferreted out yet? These were more easily caught because they were done before election day. How many of his workers are doing this in the other important swing states? You can bet it isn't confined to only Ohio. (FYI: Only 537 Florida votes determined the 2000 election. He has more than enough to steal an election in place in OH alone) It was also confirmed that all of Senator McCain's workers who are registered in Ohio HAVE been cleared as legally eligible to vote there. Barack Hussein Obama has ties to more than one instance of a questionable election. His early Chicago political career was closely tied to Rezko (known as 'the Fixer') a felon charged with political corruption. My source stated that BHO claimed 'oops! I didn't know' and walked away from it. There have been several reports that he won all of his earlier elections via dirty 'Chicago-style' politics...and it looks like he intends to do the same thing here! ...with the mainstream media to support & help him all the way.

Well, this is all I can deal with at the moment...it's an awful lot to think about, isn't it? I apologize for not being able to keep it shorter. The liberal, mainstream media has managed to outdo itself in bias and unfair representation of the truth about so much of what's going on today in our nation. There are so many, many important issues that I've touched on here...and that you won't hear on the nightly news. Please consider this:
"The most reliable predictor of what a person will do in the future - is what they've done in the past."

I strongly encourage you to find a non-partisan source of the actual records of both candidates. I've heard so many negative things said about Senator McCain by Obama ads and supporters that are either lies or misleading representations. It's the only way to know the truth.

I also encourage you to view the videos from the Saddleback Forum earlier this year. They're online and show how each candidate responded to the same questions (without the debate atmosphere). Here's a link to 3 pages of clips of individual questions answered by each on GodTube:

This election will determine what direction our country heads and how well we get through our current war and crisis situations. It's worth some time doing a little research into what's really true. Do it & Vote Smart.
