Some thoughts on the 'S' word...

A Few Definitions for Thought...

socialistic
1. of, pertaining to, or practicing socialism.
2. like or tending toward socialism.

socialist
1. an advocate of socialism.

socialism
1. public collective ownership or control of the basic means of production, distribution and exchange, with the avowed aim of operating for use rather than for profit, and assuring to each member of society an equitable share of goods, services, etc....
2. In Marxist theory, socialism is the 'between stage' when a society is changing from capitalism to communism, marked by pay distributed according to work done rather than need.

dictator
1. a person having absolute powers of government, especially one considered to be an oppressor.

dictatorship

1. the term of office of a dictator
2. a state under the rule of a dictator.
3. supreme or despotic control.

I absolutely do not mean to sound patronizing by beginning with the above definitions, so please don't take it that way. It's just that I've been thinking about something and these words play a big part in what's on my mind. I think we all need to know the actual definitions of words we hear used - especially when they describe a concept or ideology that is not a common experience in our everyday lives as Americans.

I'm very concerned about what will happen to America if Barack Obama is elected next week. I don't think Obama is actually a Marxist; I'm even not ready, at this point, to say that he's a socialist...after all, he's a member of the Democratic party - right? Of course it's very hard to get anywhere in American politics if you say you're a socialist. There's only one (as far as I'm aware) in the Senate. BHO is THE MOST LIBERAL SENATOR so, actually he's even more liberal than the socialist according to their voting records. Hmmm??? Makes a person wonder, doesn't it? Anyway, I don't think that, if elected, BHO would be sworn in January 20th and hold a press conference before the month is over informing us that America is now switching to become a completely socialist nation. However, that does NOT mean that having Barack Hussein Obama as President would benefit America or most Americans. It also doesn't mean that he would not take America far closer to that eventuality.

Now, added to his response to Joe the plumber, the tape & transcript of an interview he did at WBEZ-FM radio in January of 2001 shows that BHO actually does want the wealth to be spread around. He basically says that the civil rights movement made their big mistake in focusing on the court instead of other avenues like community organizers (read: himself) to bring about 'redistributive change'. Well, he's made it clear that he won't make the "big mistake" of leaving community organizers (like his friends, ACORN) out of determining this country's future. In a speech to ACORN & two other CO groups during this campaign, BHO promised that, even before his inauguration, he would include them in his White House Advisory Panel. Knowing ACORN's involvement in causing this financial crisis and the widespread voter registration fraud they're involved in again...how could anyone want them advising him on how to run this nation? Barack Obama has pledged this to them and it's on video.

When any honest & thinking person looks at his record, there's no denying that he is socialistic...even if not a card carrying socialist.

Now, about the second set of definitions...Let's think first about Obama's cousin Raila Odinga. When he lost the election (where Senator Obama campaigned for him in Kenya) he claimed that it was rigged and then his supporters incited violence killing thousands, mostly Christians. This is the picture of a person with the attitude "It's My way - or else". With Odinga, people died. Next, think about Obama himself...Obama and those MANY Radical associations (not just connections, but long time associations). I also ask you to take a very honest look at the BHO strategy throughout the whole campaign. If anyone dared to say or ask anything that Obama wanted to avoid answering...they'd better duck & fast. Obama clearly believes the best defense is a strong offense. That person was immediately attacked; usually as a racist, but nothing was out-of-bounds for him. They'd say anything to get the attention of media off him...off the question or off information that managed to get released to the public. When a couple of media outlets began to actually have the nerve to ask those 'off-limit' questions, he began cutting off stations/networks left and right. Then an individual (Joe) asked him a real question as he went through the man's neighborhood and when BHO made one of his rare Freudian slips and told him what he REALLY wants to do if elected...fireworks. People began to realize that this guy wasn't being totally honest in his 'campaign-speak'. It was one of those things that he couldn't really spin...oh, he tried, but only the most naive would buy into it. And so what was the Obama campaign's response...what else? The BHO M.O. ...They saw to it that Joe the Plumber was attacked with a fury. This is the picture of a man who has Much to hide; it's a picture of someone who is determined to have complete control in his hands and whenever anyone steps out of the line he's determined they must march in...he'll attack. This is the picture of someone who is determined to oppress anything - any statement or question that does not meet his approval. This is a picture of the type of man who is already dictatorial. This also is a picture of a person with the attitude "It's My way - or else". Within his radical associations, he has ties to Castro & Chavez. When you look at all of those connections and also look at how he responds when things don't suit him and then hear that he admires radicals (including the dictators named above)...how could anyone trust that the super-majority power that is set up in Washington wouldn't go to his narcissistic head?

Which brings us to my last point...the Super-Majority - a filibuster & veto-proof Congress. There'd be critical and extreme problems resulting from the one-party system that would be running this country for at least the next four years...IF not longer. You combine Nancy Pelosi, Harry Reid, Barney Frank & Chris Dodd and that's Bad trouble for America. Factor in a huge Liberal Democratic party majority in both houses. Add in the most liberal senator ever as President. What do you have? The world's newest up & coming dictator of the late superpower, America: Barack Hussein Obama? ? ? Many people probably think that could never happen to America.... And we all know that nothing can happen to us as long as we don't expect it - Right? ...WRONG! Many things have happened in recent years that we never imagined could (or would).

Obama is someone who has made a career out of presenting himself as a centrist politician when, in fact, he is the most liberal senator we've ever had. He's made a career out of telling each group what he thinks they want to hear (except for slips in un-scripted & unpracticed moments). He's made a career out of being able to eloquently misrepresent the truth and himself.
Seek for the truth beyond the 'Obama Times' media - I dare you while you still have time. Dig deep enough: Barack Hussein Obama's TRUE agenda is very revealing.

Two of the Major Election Issues...

America is a country in crisis; we also have an extremely important election coming up very soon. I'm writing this as a citizen who's very concerned about the state our nation is in. I'm concerned about what this election will mean to our future (both immediately and long-term). I'm concerned about the impact it will have on our families' future depending on how the crisis situations and everyday governing decisions are handled by the next President. I'm concerned about the liberal bias in the mainstream media that has had a very definite effect on the understanding of many of America's citizens. It is obvious to anyone who cares to look at it realistically, that this bias exists. Because of it, many Americans have been misinformed about issues that affect our current situations. We have a nation with many people who (because of the blessings we have in America) are so used to immediate gratification and looking only at 'what does this mean for me and my personal needs & wants right now' that they no longer have the ability (or maybe it's: the desire) to look at the big picture of 'what is really best for our country's long term benefit'.

Let's start by taking a look at a couple of the issues we face. A big thing in the news right now is the current financial crisis. This is one of the things that Obama wants to blame on President Bush and link Sen. McCain with him on it. This is Obama's often repeated method of trying to draw attention away from his link to the issue or question at hand. It is a proven fact that this situation has been brewing for a long time. The late, Larry Burkett (a money management expert), in an interview given in 1992, discussed what he saw happening in relation to the mortgage aspect of this current crisis and it's what just happened. During that interview he stated that this had been going on for a long time...some aspects of the problem even began as early as the 1920's. Since his predictions in 1992 have accurately come to full bloom in 2008, we can see that this was not a problem caused by Bush or McCain. Burkett interview

In fact several years ago a senator wrote a statement to the Senate which was signed by 20 senators (all were Republicans) urging that something be done to correct the problems that were evident to them by then...that senator was Senator McCain. read a copy of this letter Not a single Democrat would sign it...in fact there is a YouTube video of Democrats caught in the act of trying to cover up the problems.

Dems cover up Freddie & Fannie scam that caused current crisis

By now, I'm sure everyone knows that the radically liberal ACORN group is in the picture on this problem also - and how. In spite of his efforts to avoid the issue, deflect and then spin it, Obama has been shown to be more closely linked with this group than he will admit.
ACORN=Association of Community Organizers for Reform Now.
BHO was a Chicago community organizer AND their lawyer for more than just the 'motor-voter' stuff he was finally forced to admit.

Don't make the mistake of being misled into voting for the very same party and candidate who is responsible for the economic crisis we now face ...just because he's very practiced at being eloquently deceptive.

I do agree that our government had to do something in the face of this financial crisis...but, I'm not convinced that it was handled right. Here's part of what's wrong... first, McCain suspends his campaigning to go back to Washington and try to help work out something that will help fix this crisis (a good choice considering this was an issue that had concerned him enough that he'd tried to get it addressed years ago). My sources state that he was successful in getting the majority of the Republicans who did vote for it the first time to do so. Obama and his media played it off as the stunt of an erratic man. As we already know, it didn't pass the first time...partly because of a Democratic party controlled Congress that was playing politics. So what was done to get something accomplished? Sweeteners ...in other words - pork barrel add-ons totaling in the hundreds of thousands. Things that I read Republicans wanted added in include getting rid of the SEC accounting rule called 'mark to market' that has played a part in causing this crisis and raising the FDIC limit from $100,000 to $250,000 temporarily. Both sound like acceptable additions that will affect the situation positively. Things I read that Democrats wanted added in include things that I think are wrong. For one thing, if you live in a state that has a state income tax, you've been able to write it off on your Federal return. Thanks to Democrats, they've now extended that exemption to people who live in a state where they DO NOT have to pay state income taxes to begin with...so now, these people can write off an expense that they never even had. These things are just 'a drop in the bucket' compared to all the pork...not to mention giving money to places like AIG who apparently decided to have a spa weekend with it...and then went back for more handout money. What Senator McCain has said about using part of the government money to help keep individuals from losing their home instead of sinking all of it into bailing out the big businesses makes sense to me...he explained how it was done before and the investment actually made money back. No senator (or human being) is perfect, but... Senator McCain does have a record of working against pork barrel politics...Senator Obama's record is the exact opposite. Check it out from an independent, non-partisan source for yourself and you'll find out that BHO has personally asked for many thousands of dollars in 'Pork'. Senator McCain did try to get Congress to head off this crisis years ago; around 200 economists have signed a petition supporting his plans as the better way to improve the economy. He has the record America needs. Obama has a record of using the tax code to 'spread the wealth around' because he thinks it's 'good for everyone'. Obama promised voters in IL that he'd lower taxes for 95% of them too; but he got in and voted to raise their taxes - repeatedly. Why would anyone believe that he'd change his M.O. now?

The next big issue we face as a nation is the war in Iraq. To me, we don't have two different wars, but instead, two different fronts in one global war on terrorism. I believe that history will look back and show that what we've been experiencing since 9/11 is the beginning seeds of WW3 taking hold...and this war will be the one described in the book of Revelation. I reach to this conclusion from a long term interest in Bible prophecy...and am, by no means, the only person who believes this. War is always a bad thing and a last choice, but according to God's word...there are 'just wars' that, from time to time, people must engage in. I believe that our nation would've been completely happy to avoid going to war against terrorists, but was pushed into this war by 9/11. We aren't fighting one man (Osama), but a huge horde of terrorists that have two things as their only desire: destroying America and wiping Israel off the face of the Earth. Furthermore, they will stop at nothing to do this. They (radical Islamic terrorists) aren't a people that America can sit down & talk with rationally & honorably ...because it's central to their belief that they Should Lie to Infidels in their quest to destroy them...and, to their twisted thinking, we (Americans) are the infidels. Barack Hussein Obama has shown a huge lack of judgment and naiveté in how he's repeatedly said that he would approach foreign relations with countries like Iran, etc.... One thought: diplomacy is a good thing and should be utilized whenever possible, but sitting down to chat with Ahmadinejad without precursors is not diplomacy, it's ignorance personified. Without sanctions, there is NO REASON for any terrorist nation to listen to reason.

First, I want to say that I certainly don't think everything during this war has been done in the best way possible, but it's far better to do the right thing and make some missteps than to do nothing and enable terrorism to rule the world. Here's a big component of WHY so many Americans are mad at President Bush about Iraq (and how BHO has used it against McCain). I know everyone's heard it... "Bush Lied, People Died". It's the mantra of Democrats, Liberals & Radicals. It would make me mad too...except for the fact that I know that the mantra itself is the actual lie.

THERE ARE SEPARATE NON-PARTISAN SOURCES THAT VERIFY... HUSSEIN DID HAVE WMDs. However, you won't hear about it on the liberal mainstream media which made a conscious (& I say, treasonous) decision to cover up the evidence. Here are a few sources of the truth about WMDs:
  1. The Terrorist Watch; Ronald Kessler (Crown Forum/2007)
  2. Shadow Warriors; Kenneth Timmerman; Nobel peace prize nominee/ 2006; (Crown Forum/2005)
  3. Saddam's Secrets; Georges Sada (Integrity Publishers/2006)
  4. The Bomb in My Garden; 2004/ Dr. Mahdi Obeidi
  5. Saddam's Bomb Maker; Dr. Khidir Hamza
Here's a short summary of documented WMD info. UNSCOM: there were dozens of known active WMD production sites during the 1990s. The UN, Russia, China, France, and America's mainstream media all knew about the many weapons plants all over Iraq, but chose to ignore the evidence. Many of those countries were involved in Food-for-Oil; it helped Hussein personally gain over $11 billion while starving Iraqis. Shiploads of goods from Russia & France labeled as 'replacement parts' etc... were actually missile guidance systems and rocket engines. German, French & Russian scientists helped Iraqi engineers begin their nuclear weapons and these three countries also voted against the Allied invasion to depose Hussein. There is documented proof that Hussein had smuggled WMDs before, during and after the 1st Gulf War. In 2002, an irrigation dam in Syria collapsed. This provided Hussein with the perfect cover story; he used a "mission of mercy" story to carry deadly toxins out of Iraq into Syria. US troops on the way to Baghdad in 2003 found caches of chemical weapons precursors, biological weapons programs, and plans for a nuclear weapons program. There was a CNN camera crew along with the soldiers, but they never reported the truth. The single source with the most damning info is said to be the former Iraqi General, Georges Sada, who wrote source3 above; I've heard him speak very convincingly about what he knows and why he wrote Saddam's Secrets.

Nobody in America likes or wants a war; it will be a great day when war is over. Still, to continue in the future as a sovereign nation, America needs to stay the course and finish (in a good way) what we had to begin. American soldiers have lost their lives in this fight and that's why we, as Americans, hate war. To us, every single life lost is a tragedy. To our enemies, every life lost is a joy...whether it's one of ours or one of their own. We choose to value life; they choose to value death. The American lives lost have (at least) been lost in a fight to improve the world situation for the benefit of terrorized and oppressed people. IF we act according to Obama's campaign rhetoric, we have condemned those brave soldiers to a death for nothing...we will have turned this conflict into another VietNam. They deserve better; they deserve for us to finish the job WELL and as soon as is humanly possible. Then our military will come home in victory as McCain plans...instead of in defeat as Obama plans. (FYI: Even though he's said (among other conflicting statements) that we should've gotten out last spring, he won't commit to even having our soldiers home by the end of his 1st term - that would be 2013. Just another example of how he says whatever he thinks the current audience wants to hear....of how his actions contradict his eloquent words.) Senator McCain has a strong history of experience in how to get through terrible times and come out strong; he has the knowledge we need to finish this involvement in Iraq the right way.

We don't have much time until one of the most important elections in a long time takes place. There's much more at stake than is being discussed in the news media (more on that later). The number of legitimate questions and issues can be overwhelming to people just trying to get through the day well and do what's right. I hope you'll join me in taking the time to do a little research into what's really true before you vote on November 4th. I hope you'll look into the records of both candidates and see for yourself what they really stand for. The best indicators of a person's future actions, is their past actions...so research their voting records (at an unbiased source) if you do nothing else. Then Vote! ...And, I challenge everyone to vote by what your conscience tells you is the best choice for our country's future...not only what someone tells you about filling your wallet.

Some Reasons I won't Vote for Obama...

Much has been said about Barack Hussein's Obama's lack of experience. Regardless of how he spins it, he really IS more lacking in experience than any of the POTUS and/or VP candidates in the running. As a matter of fact, the one person who gets all of the bad press about having a supposed lack of experience (Palin) is the ONLY one of the four who actually has executive experience. That's largely as the Governor of Alaska which is a large and important state in regards to our energy independence and national security. (SHE has a higher National Security Clearance than any of the other three politicians campaigning.)

What else is just as important as experience (if not more so)? I'd say: character (& the ability to make good/sound judgments). A person can be short on political experience but, when combined with their other experience and GOOD Character & Judgment, ...they may easily be the absolute best person for the job. It's when a candidate for office has shown a continual lack in judgment that their lack of political experience becomes a problem.
How I Define 'Character' :
Character is that group of qualities in a person that make them who they are...it's shown by actions (not just publicly as in their reputation...but it's what that person does when nobody seems to be looking). It has a lot to do with whether a person consistently walks what they talk - or not. Constantly saying that you believe one thing and then doing and/or voting another way shows a person lacking in good character. Choosing to be involved in something unethical or immoral when you think that either nobody will know or that you can get away with it shows a lack of character and wise judgment. When you've made a mistake, not doing your best to rectify it and then either going on the attack when questioned or trying to deny it to the bitter end when it catches up to you (read BHO campaign strategy) shows a lack of character.

I've been asked "What has Obama ever done that would make you say he's lacking in character?"

Here are a few points to illustrate my reasons for holding this opinion of him:
(These aren't listed in any particular order & I'm trying to keep this as short as possible ..so I'll TRY to not write long paragraphs detailing everything that supports my stance on each point. Perhaps I can devote an individual blog to each of these as time permits.)

He's made several statements about his family & early life that have been proven to be false. (This behavior shows an attempt to cover up, or bury info about him that most people wouldn't like...or why else misrepresent so much about himself? )

There are legitimate questions about character raised by several reports that he has NOT been able to produce a legitimate birth certificate that would prove his eligibility to run for our highest office...instead he's responsible for having a doctored, fake birth certificate posted online. (I am a natural born citizen and if I were running for office and this question was raised, I would IMMEDIATELY silence it by providing the PROOF that I was legally eligible to be in that office...ending all questions. Wouldn't you? BHO refuses to do so.)

Questionable associations and even more questionable deals with the likes of Tony Rezko, an indicted political fundraiser who's also a Chicago slumlord involved in at least one questionable real estate deal (it was with BHO). There are A LOT of questionable associations. Radicals. He can be buddies with anyone he chooses...BUT as a candidate for President of the United States, Americans Have the Right to know about those associations because it shows what he's really like, what he really believes, his True world view, politics, etc.... People do not have Long Associations with other people whose morals, character and actions don't jive with their own. It's one thing for a public figure to have a fleeting acquaintance with a person they couldn't really have much respect for, but then, if that's the case, they don't develop a long personal relationships with them. Bill Ayers, Rev. Wright, ACORN, ties to Farrakhan & Chavez. . . . .

BHO's Chicago-style 'politics as usual', which leads me to...
The report that he's received $24,000 in illegal campaign funds from Rafah, Gaza and attempted to hide it from the FEC by making it appear that these 2 or 3 men were from the state of Georgia, also entering the 3 digit area code for Gaza into their finance records. as if it were the 5 digit zip code. (And, isn't the personal limit more like 2,300...and that's OK ONLY IF you're an American citizen. Again, if he's innocent of accepting this money and these reports are false, why not immediately prove that to the FEC? ...Wouldn't you?)
There are other reports of illegal contributions as well. A couple of old college buddies from Pakistan who illegally contributed big bucks in small amounts in an attempt to 'fly under the radar'. A 26 year old woman recently did an experiment to see how easy Obama's campaign made it for ANYONE to donate. She entered a fake name & address, entered her employer as "Americans Against Obama" and her position as "Founder"...her $15 donation went through in les than 3 seconds. In another situation, a reader used the same credit card information with three different names (Usama Bin Laden, Saddam Hussein, and Bill Ayers) ..ALL were accepted. This is evidence that Obama wants to make it very easy for incorrect (read ILLEGAL) donations to get through. It wouldn't be hard for them to prevent this type of thing...it's done all the time by those doing business online who DON'T want wrong things entered.
[The dollar amount of Questionable donations has greatly increased since I first wrote this]

Although, during his campaign, he's attempted to appear a moderate, in fact his record shows that he is the most liberal senator and was extremely liberal in his votes in the state legislature also. I believe that it shows a lack of character to try and present yourself as being one way, when in fact, you're the opposite. What are some of his votes which I believe go against a Judeo-Christian system of ethics?
  • He's voted against prohibiting partial-birth abortion(it included the noted exception of saving the mother's life...which is a moot point anyway & completely unrealistic);
  • voted against prohibiting state funding for abortion (same exception , plus cases of rape/incest);
  • voted against the Born Alive Infant Protection Act (on more than one occasion & has since lied [there's proof] about why) ...when even the ultra liberal NARAL Pro-Choice America wasn't even against this one;
  • voted against making prisoners pay court costs for FRIVOLOUS law suits against the state;
  • voted against imposing penalties for criminal gang activity;
  • the only one to vote against a bill that would deny 'good time' early release to sex offenders;
  • voted 'present' on a bill that would restrict the location of 'adult' use buildings, preventing them from locating too near nursery & pre-schools, churches, etc....;
  • voted against having schools install filter software to block sexually explicit sites on computers used by the children as young as in kindergarten;
  • voted 'yes' to allow purchase of 10 needles from a pharmacy without a prescription; (WHAT?)
  • voted 'present' on establishing a zero-tolerance drug policy for Dept of Corrections officers;
  • general: numerous votes in support of the homosexual agenda, against heterosexuals in similar legislation;
  • general: voted 'present' 130 times while a state senator (ducking certain controversial issues for political expediency).

I'm not trying to infer that anyone who disagrees with me on issues has no character or judgment...what I am saying is that for someone who truly has become a Christian to consistently vote against Judeo-Christian beliefs...makes no sense. If you believe the teachings of the Bible (of Jesus) how could you use the power entrusted into your hands to legislate Against those very ideals? So, to me, there's either a lack of character shown by voting against the ideals you hold dear...OR...he really Doesn't hold to the ideals he claims to have --and that amount of deception shows a lack of character as well.

The excuse of saying "I'm personally against 'XXX', but I would never vote to stop anyone else from 'XXX'." 'sounds' great in this society, but it doesn't hold water when the 'XXX' that you're discussing includes any action that attacks or takes away the God given & Constitutional rights of another human being...things like giving a false testimony in court to frame an innocent person, slavery, killing babies, etc....

Heard of an incident called Naftagate? Apparently, Obama attacked Clinton's support of NAFTA (in a state where NAFTA is not liked) promising to junk the treaty until it's renegotiated. At the same time a top official of his campaign was telling the Canadians that he didn't really mean it — that it was just campaign rhetoric. (Sounds deceitful to me...telling everyone anything they want to hear regardless of your TRUE opinion)

In 2006, Barack Obama requested an earmark of $1 million for the University of Chicago Hospital...the same hospital where Michelle Obama is the Vice President for Community Affairs. She made $121,910.00 in 2004 (before her husband was elected to the United States Senate). In 2005, (after Obama won his election) she made $316,962.00. (Pretty good raise- huh? It all sounds crooked to me) Also interesting... her non-profit? hospital has been busted! They've been shown to charge un-insured people 3.5 times the rate they charge the insured for the same things. It's been reported that this was the Obama inspired method used to try and cater to a specific clientele.

His membership in a church which has been described as more of an extremely liberal social activism club and his long association/friendship with a pastor of that church who spews forth hate and anti-American tirades, etc... (Black Liberation Theology is NOT Christianity) This shows a lack of judgment - in what it says about the ideologies he supports...in staying there if he didn't support it...then in trying to 'spin' it by pretending he didn't know anything about it when it all went public. Choosing to raise & teach your children in that atmosphere of hate shows a huge lack of judgment to any Christian-style morality...but apparently not to someone who was taught in a Wahabi school himself.

This fact DOES bring up another legitimate question...Is there any truth to the concern that he's actually practicing the Muslim art of 'taqqiyah' (lying to infidels)? It's been reported that the Muslims have said they plan on destroying the US from the inside out. What better way to do that than through our own government? It's also a fact that radical Muslim groups DO exist who've trained young Muslim men to act like Christian converts, even sending them to Christian universities, to aid their ability to infiltrate American society. So a Muslim claiming to be a Christian is not an unheard of impossibility. The point has been made that {to the Muslim way of thinking} if your father was Muslim, so are you & 'once a Muslim - always a Muslim'. If one should happen to openly renounce that religion they're to be killed. Nobody in the Muslim world is trying to kill him, IN FACT many reports state that they say they're thrilled with the possibility that he may win this election. This implies that (at least) to the Muslim mind, he is still one of them.

Like it or not, we've had a war against terrorism thrust on us by 9/11 and to then turn around and elect a person who'd be the favorite 'pick of our enemies' would be foolhardy & would also belittle the American lives that have been lost.

NOTE: I am not saying that it's been proven that he IS consciously doing this...only that, looking at it all together, there IS a Very Legitimate reason for us to be asking these questions.

As for his tendency to try and label anything & everyone as racist ~and~ all politically inconvenient statements are portrayed as coming from people who are inferred to be 'less than he'... His tactic of going in for the kill like that whenever anyone says anything that might cause people to see something deeper into who he really is shows a lack in both character and judgment ...from my perspective. One of the latest cases in point....Joe, the Plumber! No need to elaborate here as much as the attacks on him have been in the news, by the news and for the news! (mainstream media's news, read 'ObamaTimes')

Continual flip-flopping on SO MANY issues such as he has with the war in Iraq. Now, I know there are times when someone thinks one way about an issue and then later changes their mind. I don't have a problem with that and don't even consider it qualifies as 'flip-flopping'. The problem appears when the person goes back & forth & back & forth like a ping-pong ball. Basically this is just a person who's wanting to always appear to be & have been on whichever side ends up on the top of a disagreement. This person wants to avoid the responsibility of ever having to give an answer for his/her position... they can always pull some statement, etc... out of their hat and try to appear as if they've always supported the side of the issue that's currently in favor. What that says to me about a person's character is that he/she does not have the strength to stand their ground when in a situation and times get tough. ...And, when is it NOT going to be a tough time for whoever is in the White House?

I've seen the earlier video of Obama saying that he was NOT going to run for higher office before he'd had time to gain experience from serving in the US Senate...yet, he's been doing just that for most of the short time since he went to Washington. (145 working days in the senate before starting his campaign) He's carefully crafted this reassuring image of a great unifier...an agent of change...as well as a moderate. His record does not match his persona. Then there's his ability to duck the tough issues...anything that might be 'inconvenient' later. OK, it's completely his choice whether he wants to do these things or not...but to me, this pictures someone who says things (that's if you can get an actual clear statement out of him) and then people still can't trust it because of how often that person actually does (or, is) something else. (Biden's done a 180 on many things he'd said since he was asked to run for VP as well)

The recent Financial Crisis: This crisis did not stem from President Bush. The argument can be made that he didn't do enough about what was going on, but he certainly didn't cause it either. This has been building for a long time now and there's a lot of proof that the democratic party is at the top of the list of who to blame. Of course there was more than one thing that caused this crisis (there will be more on this in another Blog). Many leading economists have come out stating that HBO's financial plan will be a disaster for America...especially in this crisis. (What else can you expect from someone closely tied to those who caused it in the first place?) McCain suspended campaigning to try and work out a plan after all, he had brought this issue to the Senate's attention years ago trying to prevent what just happened and they shot him down. BHO didn't do anything (his campaign version of voting 'present') so that he could spin his reaction based on how things looked down the road. He's been spinning ever since.

Time spent campaigning (while a US Senator) for his Kenyan cousin, Raila Odinga, who was running for President. When he lost, he claimed the election was rigged and his followers went on murderous rampages, killing many (mostly Christians were targeted). Islam had picked him to win. He'd signed an agreement with Sheikh Abdullah Abdi in which, in return for Islamic support, he'd agreed to turn Kenya into a Muslim nation - outlawing Christianity. I can't prove whether BHO's involvement is Kenyan politics is due to his religious or his tribal connections to it, but it is troubling...especially if it's really both of the reasons listed.

Speaking of rigged elections...what about the one we're heading into right now? There's a (BHO tied) ACORN scandal regarding voter registration fraud. Do you remember their response? ..."Voter registration fraud is not voter fraud." OK, BUT one thing leads to the other! Now college students who are reporters for Palestra.net have uncovered Actual Obama Voter FRAUD. This has resulted in 18 illegal votes [the number is growing] for BHO by his campaign workers being withdrawn once they were caught. There are 700 BHO campaign workers currently in OH...How many illegal votes have not been ferreted out yet? These were more easily caught because they were done before election day. How many of his workers are doing this in the other important swing states? You can bet it isn't confined to only Ohio. (FYI: Only 537 Florida votes determined the 2000 election. He has more than enough to steal an election in place in OH alone) It was also confirmed that all of Senator McCain's workers who are registered in Ohio HAVE been cleared as legally eligible to vote there. Barack Hussein Obama has ties to more than one instance of a questionable election. His early Chicago political career was closely tied to Rezko (known as 'the Fixer') a felon charged with political corruption. My source stated that BHO claimed 'oops! I didn't know' and walked away from it. There have been several reports that he won all of his earlier elections via dirty 'Chicago-style' politics...and it looks like he intends to do the same thing here! ...with the mainstream media to support & help him all the way.

Well, this is all I can deal with at the moment...it's an awful lot to think about, isn't it? I apologize for not being able to keep it shorter. The liberal, mainstream media has managed to outdo itself in bias and unfair representation of the truth about so much of what's going on today in our nation. There are so many, many important issues that I've touched on here...and that you won't hear on the nightly news. Please consider this:
"The most reliable predictor of what a person will do in the future - is what they've done in the past."

I strongly encourage you to find a non-partisan source of the actual records of both candidates. I've heard so many negative things said about Senator McCain by Obama ads and supporters that are either lies or misleading representations. It's the only way to know the truth.

I also encourage you to view the videos from the Saddleback Forum earlier this year. They're online and show how each candidate responded to the same questions (without the debate atmosphere). Here's a link to 3 pages of clips of individual questions answered by each on GodTube:

This election will determine what direction our country heads and how well we get through our current war and crisis situations. It's worth some time doing a little research into what's really true. Do it & Vote Smart.
Old Sayings...Tried & True
Relating to the Upcoming election

(This was originally written back in February, 2008)

A short time ago, I received an e-mail that quotes Caroline Kennedy about her support of Barack Hussein Obama JR. I'm sure that it's an accurate representation of her statements. However, I'm also just as sure of something else. While it all sounds so beautiful, the old saying "beauty is only skin deep" applies here too! I'm convinced that what people think they will get from Obama is not what they'd really get...it's only a facade. This is something that I've known from deep inside myself ever since I first heard of him.

I'm not into arguing about politics, but feel that email opened the door to a really honest discussion of some of the things that I believe regarding the issue. A part of the quote refers to a comparison of the candidates (I'm sure she was only referring to the Democratic Party's candidates as the family is overtly leftist) when she states that they don't have any major policy differences so the three deciding factors she mentioned for choosing one of them included 'character' & 'judgment'. Let's think about that....

I'm sure that most of us have heard at least something in the media about Obama's links with Islam, etc.... I have to say that I wasn't really surprised by that. Actually, I wondered why it took so long for these issues to be discussed and so I went online to see what was being said for myself. Some people said these things were true; some said they were false. Unfortunately, much of what I found was aggravating postings by immature people attacking & bullying each other. Usually anyone trying to post an intelligent statement wanting to deal with the questions raised was a major target. Other than making me sick, it made me wonder... What would George Washington, Thomas Jefferson, John Adams, or Lincoln, etc... think about the way these people were using real issues that will affect our future only as an excuse to abuse others?

I DO believe that we should know "WHO Barack Obama is". But I've always felt that ANYONE who runs for any office governing our nation should freely make their life an 'open book'. We should know who all of them REALLY are...and not what they, their staff, or party WANTS to tell us...but the "God's Honest Truth"...Who they are when nobody is watching & who they are when the pressure is on. It's 'who a person really is' that determines what they will do in times of pressure and the Presidency is constantly 'times of pressure'.

Obama's father was a black Muslim man from Kenya; his mother, a white atheist. They divorced when he was two...it is possible that this was done by the Sharia laws of his religion as was reported. When he was 6, his mother remarried...a radically Muslim Indonesian man. (Indonesia is Muslim dominated and is said to have the largest Islamic population in the world.)
A person's childhood always has a huge impact on who they are when they are grown.
Given that, Stop & think:

His black Muslim father deserted them when he was two...and yet, he identifies himself as a black man. Not white (which he has an equal claim to) or even bi-racial from what I've been able to tell. He was very young when Barack Sr. deserted them and so his dad didn't have much (or any?) direct influence on his childhood. Still, think of the strong desire to be accepted by or become acceptable to an absent father and how that could influence him towards his father's religious affiliation...his heritage...as it has towards his race. Or is the racial choice just for political reasons... you know what I mean...an attempt to get the 'black vote'. Whichever it is, two things are true...
1. Neither thing (even if understandable) recommends Obama to me.
2. It doesn't matter that some Americans can't see any link between him & his father's beliefs. To the Muslim world, the link IS there if ONLY because his father was a Muslim. He wouldn't even have to be a devout Muslim for the ethnic part of that connection to hold true for them. There is a spiritual AND cultural aspect to any religion.

Now let's think about the man who was more influential on his boyhood...the Muslim step-father he had growing up. From all I've been able to see, he DID influence Obama towards Islam. What we are taught at home & in school greatly helps to shape who we are. Regardless of how much he's tried to downplay it, he was educated in a Wahabi school...the kind that indoctrinates young Islamics into becoming radicals & terrorists. Yes, he went to a Catholic school for a short time too, but that doesn't take away from the fact that he was taught in a Wahabi school in Jakarta, Indonesia. It's also been proven true that what a child is taught early on forms their character for the rest of their life.

Wahabism is the radical teaching that is followed by the Muslim terrorists who are now waging Jihad against the western world. It has been reported (just not largely through the liberal, secular media) that the Muslims have said they plan on destroying the US from the inside out, what better way to do that than through the government? The quickest way to infiltrate, influence & destroy would be the place where one man has much power...the President of the United States. It's a sobering enough thought to bear much serious consideration.

If Americans don't wise up, could history repeat itself as in the ancient Roman Empire? There wasn't an army around that could've defeated Rome IF they'd only kept to the original strengths & ethics that Rome had been founded on and that brought them to such power. Rome's decay from within is what really brought about the defeat of their once powerful empire.

Obama claims to be Christian. I am not the judge of his heart...God is, but I do know this...everyone who calls himself a Christian, isn't necessarily one. (And it isn't determined by having your name on a membership list either.) We're told in the Bible that we should not pass judgment on another, lest we be judged; BUT we're also told to be discerning. In other words, only God can judge anyone's heart to determine where they will spend eternity, but we Should make judgment calls in life to separate fact from fiction...good from evil...wise from foolish...truth from lies, etc.... Obama has lied about his family background and has been caught in it more than once...could this claim of Christianity be another lie? Many people are concerned that it is. It's well known that in American politics a person needs to appear Christian...whether they really believe & practice it or not. It's been reported that he became affiliated with his church only as he began his path towards politics. It's also been reported that his church is really just a very liberal social organization filled with people espousing left-wing politics. It's also been said that his affiliation with this liberal church is part of an elaborately designed ruse to appeal to a wider audience and throw the light off his Muslim leanings & upbringing. I don't have God's all-knowing eyesight, but I do have enough wisdom to see that it's very possible that these reports could be true considering the times we live in.

We can't bury our heads in the sands of ignorance...that would be playing into the hands of America's enemies. Before we got involved in WWII and found out the truth, most Americans didn't want to believe the 'rumors' of concentration camps and the horrors that went on there...but it happened. Before 9/11 if anyone had told the American public what was going to take place...who would've believed it? It would've seemed too far out there to be real...like fear tactics, propaganda or science fiction...But it happened. These are two historical facts.

It's also a fact that Muslim groups exist who've trained young Muslim men to act like Christian converts, even sending them to Christian universities, to aid their ability to infiltrate American society. So a Muslim claiming to be a Christian is not an unheard of impossibility. The big question is this, 'Is Obama actually a Muslim practicing their well-known art of taqqiyah (lying to infidels) in order to infiltrate the halls of American power?' It's a relevant question not so much because of what different religions he was exposed to during his formative years, but because of Obama's own lies about his past. It has been my experience that if a person lies about who they are, there's not much they won't lie about.

From what Obama admitted himself, his mother introduced him to ALL religions and then went on to teach him that they're ALL just BUNK dreamed up by ignorant people (not a direct quote, but a very accurate representation of what he said anyway). How much has this belief formed who he really is? I can't say exactly, but between the two major parental influences of Islam & Atheist...what rational, thinking person would really want to put their country, freedoms, or their children's future in his hands? I stand up for a person's right to believe whatever they want, but I also know that what we believe determines who we are and in the tense times we're living in, America's continued strength & freedoms depend on having a Commander-in-Chief with decidedly definite Godly ethics and morals...not someone who is obviously trying to be all things to all people...why else would he do all of that lying about his background?

There are a lot of reports that he won't say the Pledge of Allegiance, honor the flag, or be sworn in on a Bible (but used the Koran instead). I've seen a video where he didn't participate (during a Democratic Political event when you'd THINK any politician would want to appear patriotic) and he's shown a video saying that he does. I don't know if he usually does pledge or if he only does it when he MUST (like when he knows it will be recorded and available to point to if any questions get raised), but there's another old saying I know... "where there's smoke, there's a fire". Old sayings get to be 'old sayings' because there's a lot of truth in them. Most likely, neither extreme is 100% correct in their statements, but I certainly don't want to be governed by anyone whose allegiance I don't trust. I've never felt I could trust his...even before these reports existed.

America needs to stay true to our foundations or we could end up like the ancient Romans. American society may have strayed far, but this nation was founded as a Christian nation. Liberals, leftists and atheists may not want anyone to know it, but the TRUTH is that our whole system of laws and government is based on Judeo-Christian beliefs & morals. Many Americans still hold to them. This is the reason that Americans have been blessed with so much freedom to live, believe & worship (or not) however they choose. No Muslim-run country allows it's inhabitants to enjoy the human rights & freedoms that are taken for granted in America. It was Christian men who wrote that our government would not impose any one religious doctrine on the citizens of America as was done in other nations. (You know...that little statement that's been misquoted & twisted into the current secular humanism doctrine called separation of church & state!!!) Barack Hussein Obama's mama should be extremely grateful for that Christian tolerance...there are countries today where she could easily be killed for speaking against their state religion.

Having said all that, I can't offer up any 'legal proof' that Barack Hussein Obama Jr. is a Muslim or that he's part of a plan to destroy America. I doubt he could offer up any that would absolutely negate these concerns. Back to those wise old sayings: "If it looks like a duck, walks like a duck, and quacks like a duck...chances are pretty good that it's a duck". In spite of how good his words may sound to the public, he strikes me as very 'duck-like'. I can say that although he has every right to be whatever he chooses...I have many legitimate reasons to doubt the sincerity of his campaigning and claims of Christianity given the circumstances. I want to be a wise discerner of the truth. As a Christian myself, I'm insulted by anyone who goes about claiming to be a Christian, but whose very beliefs & lives disagree with Christ. From what I can gather about his record, his 'fruits' and ideals are definitely NOT Christ-like. "By their fruits you shall know them" His 'fruits' (at least) where abortion, gay marriage and doing that old Democratic party's song-and-dance of paying lip service to Israel and then siding with the Muslims...well, they don't line up with WWJD. Any nation or person who is an enemy of Israel is cursed by God (not my words, but HIS). No Christian (or any person) is perfect; too many live 'on the fence' between Godly and un-Godly lives; too many are just 'social Christians'. But a wolf in sheep's clothing...that's a completely different thing...a thing to beware of.

So think, what do all of these things say about Obama's character and judgment? Do you want our country to be led by someone who has good morals and ethics? Should the President be someone who is truthful...even when the truth is not 'popular' or 'politically correct'? Is it okay if he says one thing, but does another? ...or should he be a 'man of his word'? Should he let his political advisors and polls make his decisions for him...or should he seek God's guidance & strength to do the truly right thing, in the right way... and stay the course ...even if it isn't popular? Do you choose to think that these reports are nothing more than propaganda? I guess it's possible, but ...9/11's headlines would've sounded like propaganda on 9/10. Anyone willing to be honest with themselves about this - knows it to be true.

Things in America are not as great as they could be. I supported Bush for President because I believed (& still do) that he was the best man running...a decision largely based on moral considerations. I thank God that he was in the White House when we were attacked and not someone who was no more than just a 'politician'. That isn't to say that I think he's done a perfect job in handling everything. There was something that we had to do as a nation in response to terrorism, but it wasn't necessarily done in the best way. Like many other Americans, I too, want us out of Iraq...but I want us to get out in the right way so that the sacrifices made by our military will NOT have been in vain. My brother fought in the Marines in Viet Nam. Thank God he came home, but many didn't. How our country handled that war and getting out of it didn't honor the lives of soldiers that were lost or forever changed. Some things may need to be changed, but change just for the sake of change often lands people right 'out of the frying pan and into the fire'. We're living in perilous times and this election is going to be an important one. We should all do our best not to fall into the trap of believing in a sweet-sounding facade and dismissing any less-flattering substance.

Back when Kennedy ran, he had all the charm & charisma and was a master at PR & 'talking the talk". (It's even been reported that he was largely elected on the female vote.) Even today we hear his time in the White House referred to as 'Camelot'. However, many things have come to light since then that have shown us that things were not as wonderful as they certainly seemed to the public. I don't say that to take away from any of the good he accomplished...for that was certainly there too. My point is only this...things aren't always what they seem. Having said all of that, I'll close by saying that I'm not trying to tell anyone who they should vote for. I'm not even sure there's anyone "in the running" that I can fully support. That's what I'd call a really sad state of things. I just believe that we need to take a serious look at what's REALLY going on here. With deception being the "Name of the Game" where a political campaign is concerned, we will need guidance from above to see the truth and be able to make a truly good decision on who to vote for. Thank you for taking the time to read this and hopefully taking my thoughts & concerns for our nation's future into consideration.
